Policies for Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Master’s Course)
Diploma Policy
The educational mandate of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences is to train personnel who will be able to contribute at a global level in the fields of research related to drug discovery and pharmaceutical life sciences. Accordingly, students who have acquired the following qualifications and earned the prerequisite credits will be conferred with the degree of MSc (Pharmaceutical Sciences).
- High-Level Proficiency with International Dialog
- Has acquired the ability to gather information as well as the necessary communication skills and international sensibility to be successful at the global level.
- Sense of Ethics
- Has acquired a strong sense of ethics for protecting the dignity of life.
- Understands the responsibility and vocation of research activities and has acquired a sense of sound scientific ethics.
- Advanced Knowledge and Skills
- Has acquired knowledge and skills in the fields of pharmaceutical specialty necessary for drug discovery and pharmaceutical life science research.
- Has acquired the ability to utilize and apply these, based on a firm foundation of basic pharmacological knowledge and skills.
- Originality and Problem-Solving Skills
- Has acquired the originality and basic problem-solving skills required by drug discovery and pharmaceutical life science researchers.

Curriculum Policy
The following curriculum has been developed for training the creative researchers and highly trained professionals who will cultivate broad-based perspective and logical thinking skills necessary for attaining a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge and skills that form the basis of drug discovery and pharmaceutical life science research to play a leading role in the field.
- Through lectures subjects in fields related to drug discovery and the pharmaceutical life sciences, to foster the ability to integrate wide-ranging knowledge and create original research.
- Through pharmacy-based exercises and an experimental research program, to foster problem-solving skills and superior drug discovery and pharmaceutical life science research skills.
- To cultivate language and communication skills and nurture global literacy.
